A thought that dinged into my mind whilst being stuck at home recovering from an operation on the broken foot was that… photography did somehow in its ways help me to be a better parent to the 2 girls.
Because even though for the purpose of collating the moments of them learning and growing up – I do end up spending time with them, making them a priority in how i manage my time.

and I realized this allowed me the opportunity to converse with them more, communicate with them more.

allowing me to understand them as very unique individuals even though they are sisters. Being there when they laugh, when they giggle, when they cry and when they throw an absolute tantrum.

being there for these precious few years of their lives before they get busy themselves too managing life’s challenges.
being around and investing any human being’s most scarce and valuable resource on my children: time.
