Suppose you have been following my site for a while. In that case, you will know that a habit of mine is to have a camera always in reach of my 2 daughters for the sake of letting them have the good fortune of being able to pick up a camera whenever they wish to. Hopefully, one day they may pick up photography as a hobby.

Kei with the Fujifilm GFX100, this is the other camera she has mentioned to be heavy other than the Sony A7R III and 2470GM and the Nikon D850 with a 24-70/2.8 VR.

*Note – The photos shared here are indeed shot by my two daughters, 3 and 5 years old now, they are far from being excellent or even acceptable coming to quality, so please view them with a massive pinch of salt.
And of course, they do have their personal cameras, a pair of 16 megapixels, 1 2/3 inch sensor Fujifilm T400s, which I always keep charged and ready for them to use, and it has become a habit of mine to once every few months to collate the photos from the 2 cameras.

the pair of Fujifilm T400, a 2013 model now discontinued. The fun fact is that it even comes with a 10x optical zoom.

Lynn with her set.
So it is simply time to again share their works, the perspective and view from 2 photographers less than 120cm in total height and less than 9 in the sum of their ages.

A composite of some of the images the 2 girls photographed.
A random thought now, which I probably will make a reality later, is to compile some of these candid shots in a physical photo book, like how you would make a photobook of your baby‘s growth journey.

Admittingly, I am sure these photos wouldn’t pass muster in any contest or critique. Still, to me, the parent, this hopefully will form the beginnings of the photography journeys of these 2 small children, and I hope they will use this medium to better their sense of creativity as they grow.
Thank you for reading.

Thanks for sharing such joyful pictures. I have a picture of me and my sister when I was about 6 with my Dad’s now ancient “bellow”s style camera hanging around my neck. Good to start the kids early in the great world of photography!
