Out of action while I recover from ICL – be back soon!

With the combination of severe short-sightedness, astigmatism and lately, worsening long-sightedness, it has come to a point where I realised I had to fix my eye-sight before things really go to a point beyond repair.

In fact, this year, it got so bad that I realised that even with corrected glasses, I couldn’t see clearly with my right master eye, and with the left eye compensating, it was a sooner or later thing where other issues such as ‘lazy-eye’ develop.

Thus, I decided to go for Implantable Collamer Lens (ICL) Surgery, where the surgeon makes small incisions to place the lens between the cornea and the iris to correct my sight. And being all the naive person I am, I had expected to be able to run immediately after the surgery, and I was totally wrong in that it seems that the usual expected recovery for full perfect sight will take a few weeks to 2-3 months.

Hence, during this period, while I work on training my brain to work with the implants, I will be taking a short break from review writing, probably 2-3 weeks, especially given that what is on the pipeline is the newest (to be officially announced) medium format camera from Fujifilm and a few other lenses.

I look forward to continuing reviews when I am ready to go!
