Parenting: (trying to) Teach the toddler housework 🙄

Today while mulling around the household I caught glimpse of the 2 year old Lynn for once, looking…. bored. 

And so, a bright idea hit me: 

‘Why not have her learn how to do housework and contribute to the home? Afterall, soooooo many parenting experts say thats easy, great and fun to do right?’ 

And so well, I discovered that the true agonising nature of teaching a toddler how to use tools in housework basically can be distilled down to 3 main steps:

1. Processing the instructions.

2. Exploration of possibilities.
and yes…
3. Making a decision 🙄…

Step 4 was chasing her down with a pair of crutches, which well.. was more work.
